What's changing?
So far, our Pro and Enterprise tiers have been billed per human or service account.
Starting February 2026, we are moving to a simpler, flat pricing model based solely on human users. Service Accounts will no longer be billed. You can see the new pricing structure on our pricing page.
You no longer need to estimate the number of Service Accounts needed to cover all your applications, environments, and deployments. You only pay for each team member in your organization, making it much easier to estimate your costs.
Why are we making these changes?
Feedback from our customers consistently indicated that the previous pricing model was complex and made it difficult to predict costs accurately, since the number of Service Accounts required could vary significantly based on the number of applications and environments being managed.
Removing the billing for Service Accounts simplifies our pricing structure, making it more transparent and easier for teams to understand their current and future costs based directly on the size of their team.
How does this affect you?
If you are an existing paying user, your pricing will stay as is. You will not be affected by these changes unless you choose to switch to the new simplified plan. If you are a smaller team with a large number of Service Accounts, you may see a reduction in your costs by switching to the new plan.
We recommend reviewing your current usage and comparing it to the new pricing structure to understand how it may impact your costs. You can see a comparison of the old and new pricing for your organization in the billing section of the Phase Console by clicking on "Switch to new pricing".
New customers will be billed according to the new pricing structure starting February 2026. You can see the new plans on our pricing page.
